2006 - Caving
This trip to a cave in Madison County, AL was our first outing
since May. Our troop friend and cave guide, a science teacher and speleunker in the Hunsville area,
took us to this awesome cave. There was a lot of water in this cave, and in places we waded
knee-to-hip deep. We were fortunate to spot some cave-dwelling water species which is a
thrill only
experienced by a few adventurers. We also had a great time exploring and enjoyed the
occasional
mud fight! After caving, our guide took us to a beautiful formation he called
"Natural Bridge" which is actually someone's front yard!
