2007 - USS Alabama

In January we invited our Webelos friends from Pack 4 and Pack 7 to join us in an overnight trip to the battleship USS Alabama. This World War II vintage ship is a floating museum on Mobile Bay. Twenty-six scouts and thirteen adult leaders spent the afternoon and evening exploring the grand old ship. "Sleeping" in a room with almost 40 people is definitely a different kind of experience! Many were tired the next morning, but we enjoyed touring the submarine USS Drum before leaving for home.
