Many of us gathered at Camp Horne on May 3 for the first-ever Troop 7 "Advancement Day". Scouts below the rank of Star worked on rand requirements including first aid, cooking, and map and compass. Older scouts came out to assist with instruction and signing-off requirements. Lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs was provided and prepared by those in need of cooking lunch or breakfast over and open fire.
