    • January 15-17, 2010 - Camping - Caving expedition in Huntsville area
    • January 23 = Merit Badge College - sign up with Mr. Lanier
    • February 12-16, 2010 - Backpacking - Cheaha area

    Recent Events

    • Caving - camping at Monte Sano State Park - Jan 2009. The cave was the warm part of this weekend. Temperatures dipped into the teens and the wind really picked up for our camping Saturday night. A special "Polar Bear Plus" (or minus, depending on your perspective!) award will be made to the survivors.
    • Orienteering - Camp Horne - Dec 2008. A day activity and a competition to determine who in Troop 7 has the sharpest map and compass skills.
    • Primitive Camping - Oct 2008. Sometimes we like to go camping with the bare minimum of materials. Polyethelyne and rope were all there were allowed to build a shelter/tent for the night, and no pots/pans/utensils were allowed for cooking meals over a wood fire.
    • Point Mallard Water Park - Decatur - Aug 2008. This was our first trip for the year and the water park was a great destination considering the warm weather.
